The hate for Haymon is that he got his fighters paid Accordingly. He is too smart to allow Networks and Promoters to Lowball his fighters so this brings HATE because it makes things Difficult for the Networks and Promoters. Fighters go to him for Money and to make sure they make what they're suppose to make. Promoters most of them don't even open up their books, Why Is That? Because they know if people saw the numbers, it would be a disgrace what the fighters get compared to what the Promoter makes Total off of the hard work of the fighters.

It's really no secret HBO doesn't work with Haymon. For a big fight they may make an exception, especially if there's a promoter they can work with and not deal with Haymon. So Yvon Michel should give it a try and talk to HBO about making this fight, which HBO has been wanting for a long time. Won't be as much money as if it went purse bid, but a lot more than Stevenson gets fighting no hopers before thin crowds.

Really there's no need to even discuss any fights like this between the PBC and HBO fighters, because Haymon refuses to do business. The "cold war" will last as long as Haymon is in boxing. The only way you can support a guy like that is by being a contrarian douchebag, which you are.

Make it happen! I don't think GGG is going to get Cotto or Canelo because I think Cotto will drop that 160 Title so GGG will be on the outside looking in. If he doesn't get Canelo or Cotto he won't fight a better opponent than Lara to be honest

I don't think Lara's skills will reflect well on himself. He doesn't have a great chin, he has no power and he'll be much smaller. Lara can't fight on the inside and doesn't have the pop to keep Golovkin off him. It's a mismatch. Golovkin would chop him down fairly easy because of those reasons. If Lara was built like a middleweight and/or had some more power then it would be a much more interesting fight. As it is now it would just be a "name" on his resume. In that regard, if there are no better alternatives then sure, team GGG should send Haymon an offer and see if he's willing to put one of his PBC fighters on HBO. As we know Haymon and HBO aren't working with each other but hell, it's worth a shot. If I'm Loeffler I would try to call Lara's bluff here.
