I actually enjoyed parts of the fight last and enjoyed that he was in the pocket and making Delvin miss and making him pay.....but I had to remind myself that he will not do that against GGG, he will run for his life and make the fight boring. Lara has enjoyable fights and boring fights and it is based on the perceived danger. Against lighter hitters, he looks good or great, if they have power, he runs....all because Angulo made him leery and he went to the extreme because of that.

You don't have to be a fan of GGG to simply not want to see Lara run even faster against GGG than he didn't against Canelo. If Lara stays in the pocket like Whitaker and Floyd and makes GGG miss and makes him pay, then he gets credit. But if he runs, he will get no credit.

Lara is aware that GGG is not wanting to go down to fight at 154lbs for him?
It would likely only happen for Canelo/Mayweather because they can demand a huge pay-day, that's maybe the stumbling block but however If Lara is willing to move to 160lbs this would be a good fight to be made.
I just don't think Lara could take the power that GGG has to offer that added with the fact that he will not be that big at 160.

Against both Canelo and Pac, Floyd used both movement, and stayed in the pocket at times and even walked them down at times. Lara on the other hand had only one gear against Canelo, that is reverse. If Lara wants to make the big money, he has to market himself by balancing aggression with defense, not just running. If he had fought Canelo like he did Rodriquez, he would have either been hurt more, or hurt Canelo, or impressed the judges more and gotten the nod and we wouldn't be having this conversation.
