Lara beat Paul Williams, and his fight with Canelo was no less than a draw. Canelo will never fight him again, and GGG won't fight him either. GGG's folks have said that Ward wasn't financially appealing , so no way the Lara fight happens. I think Haymon should give Lara a fight vs. Andrade, Jacobs, or Quillen! I think Lara is capable of winning either of those fights, but the weight might be a factor. Make It Happen!

I too feel that the judges robbed Lara in his fight with Canelo, and I want to see a rematch. If it had been Floyd in the ring instead of Lara, he would have won based on Lara's performance. And it is good that Lara wants to fight GGG - the sooner the better.

"I'd break Canelo's mouth again" Damn these guys get tough when Delvin Rodriguez is in front of them.

Leaking all over the ring with your blood like you're on your period.

When it's time to get busy, all the sudden it's "Cuban school of boxing doe."

GTFOH Lara, you would run again you weak b!tch. You ain't built for that war, you're too ****ing fragile.

With some bodybuilding, Williams could have easily fought in the LHW division -- with his height of 6'1"/185cm and reach of 79"/201cm...

(I never took Lara vs Canelo fight "seriously" -- I've picked Canelo to win by a "hard-fought decision"... In fact it was my only bet on this site... )

... As about Lara vs Golovkin: history shows that the Russian school***354; always had "issues" with the "Cuban school" in the past...

This is simply not true. Put Lara with someone like Murray and he will be decisively beaten on work-rate alone.

                Lara won't get either fight.

I don't see why Golovkin-Lara can't happen though. GGG just fought Willie Monroe who is completely unknown, so you can't use the 'no fan base' reason on Lara.

Martin Murray would not beat Lara, stop it

Murray would barely lay a glove on him.

I know you made the bet (and won too), but do you think Canelo won the fight vs. Lara?
