      I'll take Crawford by KO.

Manny is near done and Terence may actually be legit next big thing.

In which case, he'll need a good nickname.

      "Terence"?

      Sounds like a haberdasher.

Mark my words: Crawford hasn't got a big problem with his chin he won't fold like a pack of cards if he got hit.
Gamboa is a big puncher but more importantly he is explosive. If an explosive guy with his last breath with his full weight, fast lays a punch on you chin you will feel is. I think most of the top ww-s would also rocked by that punch.
His former S&C coach mentioned something about his chin in the amateurs and said he would struggle against the big boys. Not sure if he is being bitter but it looked like he knew what he was talking about.

          ah okay, fair enough.
He won it against Cotto at 145, he didn't defend it. Clottey and Mosley were WW's, Bradley was 1 fight removed from JWW and Algieiri was a JWW. He also defended against JMM at 144 and 143.

Don't see how Crawford wins this, really don't. When he throws I notice that his chin is up in the air and the fact that he likes to back up straight.

I hadn't noticed these flaws. Thank you for bringing them up. I will watch closer.

You're reaching hard and there's nothing there.

Cotto, Clottey, Mosley, Bradley, Mayweather all welterweights.

Algieri and Marquez were JWWs stepping up. Pacquiao did Algieri the favor meeting the 140 champ halfway and Marquez the favor meeting him at 144, the other Marquez fight (IV) was at 147lbs.

Throw in that Pacquiao fought Margarito and the point you're trying to make looks ridiculous.

Too soon for Crawford. He still has a lot of work to do @140. Maybe we'll get Pac/Crawford in 2017 as one of Pac's last fights.

I meant recently. Floyd was the first real welterweight he's fought since Mosley in 2011. Since then:

                    Marquez - No
Bradley - 1 fight with Casa shouldn't get you a title shot at 147

                    Then Bradley has the belt:

                    Provodnikov - No
                    Marquez - No
Pacquiao - First defense against an actual welterweight.

Then Pacquiao gets the belt back:

                    Algeiri - No

From 2011 to 2015 they could have fought:

                    Maidana
                    Guerrero
                    Porter
                    Thurman
                    Alexander
                    Khan
                    Brook

If they want to campaign at welterweight then fight welterweights and stop playing pass the bottle with the welterweight title.

I want to see that fight too. If Crawford wants it now, let's make it happen!
