It's really too bad we couldn't see Crawford/Peterson at 140. I'd atleast like to see Crawford beat Mikey Garcia and Victor Postol at 140 before moving up. At 147 he's got Bradley, Vargas, and Rios at TR, but some interesting future fights with Spence, Thurman, Khan, and Ali.

Crawford got hurt a few times by Gamboa. This is not easy as some think, this all depends in what condition does Pac come back

I see that now this "Crawford was rocked by Gamboa" talk will be the "go to" argument against Crawford even if he beats all the 140 lb-ers. This is like when some people still bring up that Ward was KD-d by Boone and it was 10 freaking years ago.

Mark my words: Crawford hasn't got a big problem with his chin he won't fold like a pack of cards if he got hit.
Gamboa is a big puncher but more importantly he is explosive. If an explosive guy with his last breath with his full weight, fast lays a punch on you chin you will feel is. I think most of the top ww-s would also rocked by that punch.

How sad is it that Manny once again looks to be fighting another JWW moving up? Maybe manny needs to just retire. He wasn't good enough to deal with Floyd and he will not fight any real WW's.

edit: if this fight is on regular HBO that would be really great. I think Manny owes it to boxing fans to make up for his lack of effort in the Floyd fight.

I think doing this, even against a JWW moving up, would help him get back a lot of the goodwill he lost after the fight and him being such a sore loser.

Top Rank and the WBO have been disgraceful in their matchmaking. Pac and Bradley have been defending that 147 belt against JWWs for too long.
