Pac could have won if he was rocking Mayweather every other round. Instead he was content with keeping a boxing rhythm with him 90% of the time.

To beat Mayweather you have to do what Maidana did to Broner. That's not gonna happen though. Mayweather is tried and true. I knew he was great ever since he outboxed a highly motivated Golden Boy.

Mayweather is too sharp. If Pac tried to put more hands on him he would have got lit up. Jab, jab, right hand, left hook.

Contrast this with Mayweather/Pacquaio. Where almost everybody feels secure that Floyd won the fight quite obviously.
You know who think SRL won easily? Skip Bayless. You know who think Manny won? Skip Bayless. Skip knows jack **** about boxing but apparently he's not alone out there.

If u like pure boxers with only defense as they leading strenght, good for you. (i'm not saying SRL was this, he was way more than this)

But don't try to tell us that the fight was "easy work" because it wasn't. 95% of the people who watched that fight agreed that was a close fight, and a good one.

Just an quick info. Leonard went up to MW to fight the boogeyman (Hagler).
that's why his W was so great.

It's like Maywheather going to fight GGG.
It's nothing like Mayweather going to fight GGG. Floyd turned pro at a lower weight, and Floyd is 38. SRL was on the verge of turning 31.

People need to wait for this fight to rest until May 2nd 2016 before we start talking about it again.

Better fight than Leonard / Haggler

Pacquiao obviously a dangerous little fighter. Just didn't quite have the right style for Floyd as I've always said. Still he touched Floyd so that it was felt a couple times.

Leonard beating hagler is like Oscar coming out of retirement and beating golovkin... It's just an absurd achievement to have on your resume..

Without a doubt, SRL beating Hagler was one of the all time great upsets, it can't be denied. The manner of victory, the fluidity still visible in Leonard at the time makes it even better.
