Why take out the numbers he did with Floyd??? The both fought the same guy and Canelo did almost 800,000 million more buys than Cotto did....that's a lot. I wouldn't call Cotto a PPV attraction he did 600,000 against Margarito what a surprise a Mexican fighter other than that take out Pac and Mayweather and Cotto's PPV numbers are pedestrian at best. Canelo fought 2 nobodies in Lara and Angulo yet he sold more than Cotto did vs Judah, Martinez those are guys who people knew and he still outsold them. Not to mention Cotto got his ass whooped against Trout while Canelo went on to whoop that ass!!!! Cotto is done he looked good against 3 bums great, but I guarantee you Canelo brings in more fans and money than Cotto does.

Why take out his numbers with Floyd? Because his entire career is based off of Floyd, Cotto's isn't. Canelo was on his undercard for years. His debut on PPV was facing Floyd, again after being on his undercard for years. His best TV rating... Floyd/Manny was the opening for Canelo.

It's not like I didn't throw out Cotto's numbers either. I'm saying taking away the BIGGEST payday for both guys, let's see how they stack up. The reason Canelo fans don't want to do that is because the Floyd riding is the only way to justify Canelo being a draw or even capable of being an A side.

Cotto's diva ways have killed the fight twice. Makes sense you don't put all your eggs in one basket. Cotto doesn't want this fight, its been reported numerous times that HBO wouldn't show his last fight unless they had an agreement in place to fight Canelo. Cotto knows that he is signing up for an ass whipping wither its ginger or GGG. He knows he will make more $$$ with Canelo.

Canelos not an up and comer, hes here an established boxer, look at his opposition level to validate that. Cotto is established as well but he was knocked off in 2012 and hes being brought back up like an up and comer..and look at his opposition to level to validate that.

As far as this fight getn made, dont get ur hopes up...but then again, Cotto will continue to duck GGG at all costs and that might be motivation enough to fight the gringo(canelo)..as long as its not GGG. Lets Cotto doesnt duck this kid again.
