I don't think Lara would win personally but that doesn't mean I don't want to see the fight and how Golovkin would deal with him and it doesn't change the fact that he's head and shoulders above anyone Golovkin has ever faced.

Yea, I see your point. Better for GGG to keep fighting the big names, like Willie Monroe. Lara's done nothing to deserve a shot at GGG. And to make matters worse, nobody even knows who Lara is, unlike Willie Monroe who has a huge fan base.

Are you totally dense? GGG does not make the decisions for HBO. If they do not approve Lara as an opponent, there is nothing GGG or his camp can do. If Haymon does not allow Lara to fight on HBO, there is nothing Lara or GGG can do. Can you not get that simple fact into your head? How are you even able to function in the world if you cannot understand such basic ideas?

Probably precisely because he's been out 19 months. He didn't need to make the 168lb weight because it's a non-title bout so they just wanted to ease back down.

He was 173.4 two and half weeks before the Smith fight so clearly, he could make 168 if he wanted to. No one said Golovkin had to fight at 172. Breathe, kid.

I'm not saying Ward is an option for September, I'm just saying that there is no weight issue, just like there isn't one with Lara. Hence we can cross off another of the excuses for why these fights can't happen which tend to come from people like you.

You are going under the illusion that GGG will fight him look good and KO him. Canelo probably KOs him if he actually fights him. Problem is Lara refused to do that and is likely to fight exactly the same and run from GGG like he did Canelo. What if the fight goes exact the same and no knock downs no action and GGG wins but by ugly decision. How does that help GGG? Winning a decision against a guy who's already been beat and isn't even a middleweight?
