Like I said, Lara would be a massive underdog, here or at the bookies. Id like to see it, but no big deal, not a competitive fight
Like I said, I want to see the fight and I will demand it until I am proven that it is rejected.

hmmmm, maybe it was a dream sequence........
Lara has mentioned Golovkin on a number of occasions now, at 160.
The fact that Lara has specifically mentioned 160 every time, indicates that he is attempting to remove roadblocks/excuses.
I dont see the issue with this fight, as it would be Golovkins best win.
Why arent Golovkin fans screaming for this fight ?
It would finally give them ammunition when detractors point out that Golovkin is a vet with a shht resume', and Lara is not even a true middleweight.
How can fans state that 153lb Cotto should fight Golovkin, but that Lara is too small?
Fcuk that meaningless lineal accolade, Golovkin knows whats up.

HBO doesn't control GGG's career, K2 does.
As far as I'm concerned, K2 can make that fight happen regardless of what network covers it. If GGG wants it, K2 can make it happen. Doesn't matter if it's on HBO, Showtime, NBC, CBS, or whatever...
Golovkin has an exclusive contract with HBO and cannot fight on any other network in North America. Are you able to tie your shoes in the morning or are you one of those people who only wear loafers?

If he was a big name, he would be calling the shots and people would be lining up trying to fight him for a chance at not only glory, but securing their financial future. He's just another guy in line right now along with Erislandy Lara, Keith Thurman, Demetrius Andrade, and whoever else HOPING to land a fight with Mayweather, Pacquiao, Cotto or Canelo.
Folks call Canelo and Cotto a diva, and yet they are proven stars.
What is Golovkins excuse for being such a diva ?
What did Golovkins sense of entitlement come from ?
He is just standing in line with the rest, many of whom have a better resume.

I'm not saying K-9 or Heiland are better than those guys, but the are in the same league of fighter/recognition. HBO are hard asse$ when they don't own you essentially, when they do they have no problems babying you.

But like I said, GGG's supporters are split into two. You have people that want to see him take on the best fighters in boxing. Then you have others that make excuses like this:.
Some GGG fans make other GGG fans and GGG look bad. However, there is GGG haters that say some ridiculous things as well. According to these haters, he has to go all the way up to Heavyweight (exaggerating) to finally prove himself. There is still a lot of fights I would love to see at 160 and I don't give two damns if other people think they won't challenge GGG; it's not GGG's fault that he's better than everyone in his weight class (plus you never know, upsets exists). Why does GGG have to be the one to clean up 168? Why doesn't a fighter that already fights there get up from their a*s and start doing that? Why does a Middleweight have to do their dirty work? Ward already cleaned it up doe, well guess what there is new challenges that have arisen, if not then why not move up?
Mayweather and Pacquiao moved up in weight doe, why can't GGG? Well guess what Floyd and Manny went to chase the money (Welterweight has been the money division for some time now), the money for GGG is at 160 whether people like it or not.
This wasn't specifically meant for you btw.
