Lara could beat Mayweather @ 154, and GGG @ 160, but neither fighter is dumb enough to take the fight because Lara doesn't have a big following like Cotto and Canelo!

Yeah because Haymon is really trying to protect his cash cow Lara

Lol yeah I was about to say...I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that protecting Lara isn't exactly the highest thing on Haymon's priority list

I'm not convinced he beats either. Lara is just not that good defensively.

This is an acceptable fight for GGG while he's waiting on Cotto and/or Canelo. I'm a fan of Lara, and genuinely despise GGG's fans. But, I think Lara's style plays right into GGG's hands and Gennady destroys him.

Lara can't fight on HBO... How many times does this same article have to happen? Either way he will get killed against GGG. I think Monroe is actually quite a good fighter himself he should fight Lara.

If Froch doesn't want it (he's meeting with his trainer this week to decide) and Uncle Al allows it, then DeCubas just signed Lara's death certificate.

Still think Haymon veto's this whole thing ala - Peter Quillin and his 101 excuses vs Korobov. Haymon would be helping one of HBO's stars become a bigger name.

And even if Al does allow negotiations, lets see if team Lara doesn't price themselves out as well. Typically Lara is one of Haymon's lowest paid fighters.

                Purse Opponent
                $135,000 Paul Williams
                $40,000 Freddy Hernandez
                $202,500 Vanes Matirosyn
                $175,000 Alfredo Angulo
                $270,000 Austin Trout
                $1,000,000 Saul Alvarez

Why ...Lara a top fighter ...he's calling him out and he's not the bums GGG been fighting ...I think he has a good chance ...there should be no chances and if he just fought a fighter off espn ...why not fight Lara ...I love this's tech up ...if he Ko Lara in 5 I will be his number 1 fan ...no more European ane no more c fighters

                    Golovkin is willing, since when?

Gennady's team has openly turned down the very thought of this fight on multiple occasions.
