I like Bernard a lot, but he himself comes across as a racist at times. Glass houses, stones...that whole thing.
He is a racist. Racist people always talk about race and think something is being done towards them soley because of their race. Its Cuz they have a racist mind.
Which police officers did he happen to make eye contact with? Would it be one of the three white ones or one of the three black ones that have been indicted in the case? There were also 42 murders in the city of Baltimore in the month of May and eight in the first week of June. Just about all of them were black on black crimes. I have to ask why is no one out protesting the fact that young black males are killing each other off at historic rates??
I listed 8 black people who all but 1 were confirmed murders of white officers shooting down black citizens . U then choose to find a needle in a haystack by stating that Grey's murder hasn't been confirmed as to who severed his spine , as two of the arresting officers were black and two were white . Hitherto , u should be more careful with your words as this type of nitpicking a pixel out of a 50 inch screen could be misconstrue u as a "racist sympathizer"
To be a racist, means one supports racism. Supporting racism usually involves the racist gaining some sort of advantage real or perceived against those discriminated against.
Racism gives racists power, because racism itself requires power from and by those who choose to use racism as a tool to exploit and dominate others. Example... The old school racists who created/supported/upheld Jim Crow laws, would not have gotten far had racism not been institutionalized from the highest levels of the socioeconomic order on down.
Racism of today is not the same definition. You are going by old standards. You want to know where racism is defined in the current climate? It's the school systems. Because they have to categorize it and create policies regarding it. I've worked in school systems and teachers and the board have to define and redefine the political landscape and I have listened in on those meetings.
Racism today is anything that judges or looks down upon a group because of their race, color, creed, etc. So when someone says that it is impossible to be racist towards Mexicans as an example because they are not a race....that is a lack of understanding because racism is a grouping in todays world that also includes nationality, etc. Racism of the past was more about power. Now, it encompasses many collective elements as well. Broner made RACIST remarks, Don Imus made RACIST remarks, also called racial slurs. Both of them branded themselves as racists.
Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere -MLK
U justifying unabated police murder might make u the dumbest MF on here . did u not read the post u android ? It's states the names of many who were ambushed and shot before given a chance to comply ! My post also includes vigilantes of whom Trayvon was murdered by , not just c
So who are most criminals rebelling against when committing crimes?
Are black criminals all rebelling against the system when stealing, etc?
Is that just crimes against whites? As in calling the whole law and justice system white? Isn't that also a stereotype?
You need to wise up and be accountable for your actions.
In almost every case where an assailant gets shot it's because they didn't obey a peace officers instructions.
In no way do I condone murder of any kind but you really need to put yourself in an officers position. They feel threatened in almost every case and react accordingly. It's not some invisible conspiracy to commit a black america genocide as you try to pass off. That's pure ignorance.
If that was the case then there would have never been a black president or he would have been assasinated.
Oh, and I can guarantee more black americans are racist than white.
I know from experience firsthand.
Try pulling your head out of your a55. You're just trying to justify criminal behavior.
B-Hop 100% on point. Those who are largely unaffected by racism won't understand unless they actually try.
Also, calling B-Hop racist for shining a light on the racist proclivities of his hometown is mistaken. B-Hop (and ********** in general) can't be racist, because racism first requires the overwhelming advantage in politico-socioeconomic power in order to discriminate against those weaker (and different) than yourselves.
but anyone can be a bigot. I don't know B-Hop personally, but he did not come across as a bigot on this one. just calling it how it is.
Does, "I'll never lose to a white boy!", ring a bell?
he wants credit for turning his life around, which he deserves.
he thinks athletes living a normal life should merely get the same amount of credit for their accomplishments within their sport, as athletes who behave poorly.
is it fair that athletes receive more attention and money as a result of getting in trouble? does that send a good message to the youth?
that really only apply's in this sport and every race in this sport has there stereotypes they must confine to or they won't do well if it's not a personality it's a fighting style. Other sports basketball, football, tennis whatever. Where there's commissions that run everything you can't behave like that they'll cut you sponsors will end your deals and your out.
Two other things. Bhop has brought the race card on himself.
He also should should shut up I've never watched a Bhop fight for the excitement. I watched it because he's the underdog most of the time and his story is inspiring I always wanna see if he can win and rewind that clock one more time. I'm sure it's that way for most people unless they just wanna see him get knocked out and hope for that.
So don't start a pity party for him start one for joe Frazier a true philly warrior that was always a gentle man outside the ring. And even when his own people turned on him to side with Ali he never made a big deal he just fought.
Also he does get credit for turning his life around it's all those zeros in his bank account.
