I've been watchin a lot of Bernard Hopkins lately and although I rate Kovalev highly; I believe a prime Hopkins would have beat him. What do you guys think?

A prime Hopkins would without a doubt not have issues with Kovalev. People seem to forget Hopkins speed at his prime and underrated power. Personally Kovalev is dangerous for any light heavyweight now but Hopkins was in a league of his own and Hopkins biggest issue was fighters with quicker hands than his own and Kovalev wouldn't be able to compete with a Prime Hopkins in the speed category or stamina.
