Boxing fans have gotta have a higher rate of bipolar personality or whatever kinda issues than the average person. To a seemingly large segment of boxing fans if a guy loses a fight he sucks & need to retire & his whole career is a joke or fraud or win a fight & he's suddenly merking the P4P #1 guy.

Prime May and Pac beats a prime Cotto 10 out of 10 times but right now Cotto beats them both.

May and Pac are only half the fighters they once were and Cotto's been looking better than ever with Roach and McMillan in his corner. He's not nearly as over the hill as May and Pac are.

They said Cotto was shot in 2010.

Fast forward 5 years he beats two of the top 5 P4P fighters in the world.

Cotto definitely looks good and rejuvenated, but I have to LOL at how knee jerk the majority of boxing fans are

only in boxing can you be a shot bum on Friday, and then by Sunday morning after your fight you can be capable of destroying every boxer in the top 10 P4P

For crying outloud he fought Geale (who is Geale?).

He fought the worst Geale possible, the guy had to rehydrate from 157 to 180? The guy was sluggish as molasses, the guy quit because he knew he had no chance whatsoever.

Having said that, Cotto had a lot of bounce and movement, the best Cotto in awhile. However he's still too slow.

I think he can beat them both. He is fighting better than ever or at least it appears he is. Pacquiao and Mayweather have both slipped some and they are older and smaller than Cotto. Pacquiao could probably be strong at 135 while Cotto seems to need to be at least 150 to be at his best. He is just too big for Pacquiao and he is punching harder and faster than ever with Roach training him. Cotto seems to have a new attitude and his must be training harder than ever to get results like he did against Geale.

                    In short, **** no.

In longer form, his chances now could be argued to be better but I just don't see it. If he beats either of the two, it'd be Pac @ 154 because Cotto looked great at 153.6 at his last weigh in and Pac is not going to weigh in @ 150+. Even then it's far from a certainty, and if the weight fought at is <<154 then odds are very very low for the upset of either.

I think I favor him over PAC but not May at 154

He already fought May at 154.
