Stop with the lies about Ward, Golovkin is not scared, Andre Ward is!

In every thread i read these lies that GGG is afraid to fight Ward. Why don't you inform yourself? It's all over the internet, how can you be so ignorant?

Tom Loeffler contacted Roc Nation about the fight when Ward announced his move to Roc Nation, but they told him Ward needs at least two tuneup fights before he can face GGG.

Ward officially made it clear in several interviews that he is not ready to face GGG. He needs a couple tuneups to get back in shape to face an elite opponent like GGG and they dont even know if he can ever make 168 again.

You want facts? Here are a couple links

Abel Sanchez, trainer for WBA/IBO/WBC-interim middleweight champion Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin (32-0, 29KOs), is a bit surprised that Andre Ward has ceased his pursuit of facing his fighter. Ward, inactive since a November 2013 decision win over Edwin Rodriguez, finally settled a long running legal fight with former promoter Goossen Promotions earlier this year. Shortly after that settlement, Ward signed a promotional agreement with Roc Nation Sports - which is owned by music mogul Sean "Jay-Z" Carter.

Ward has not fought since 2013 and before that he had a year layoff..is it unfair for him to get some tune ups? Both sides sound ******..Ward is not scared of GGG and GGG should not be rushed to fight the best fighter at 168...chill out

Ward needs a couple fights just to get him back on the map and take the rust off. GGG himself would need a fight or two at 168 to get acclimated to the new weight and build up interest in a Ward fight. People seriously lack critical thinking skills

Neither is "Scared" but for the match to happen it is going to take A LOT OF MONEY to get that done. Right now neither are PPV Stars Yet so to to be honest NEITHER brings much to the table as far as negotiations are concerned.

GGG need to clean out 160 some how some way, yeah I think he can and I know most of them don't want to fight him but he still has to actually physically DO IT. He really haven't fought any of the Top fighters at 160 yet.

As for Ward he just need to get active which is what he is doing Next Week, look forward to see how he looks after his Layoff.

Fight will happen eventually but I think even HBO want it to be PPV when it does happen.

Anyone who says any boxer is scared to fight whoever as often as some of you momos do is probably a ****ing moron. I see so many momos on forums who call professional boxers *******, cowards & duckers all day long from the comfort of their keyboard with little to no knowledge of how the sport works, the drive & dedication it takes to get in the ring & perform at a high level or the odds of a fighter being severely injured or killed any time he gets in the ring.

Tom Loeffler never contacted Roc Nation to make a fight happen. Total lie.

There are interviews of Loeffler from this weekend saying "the economics don't work" for the Ward fight. They don't want the Ward fight. They don't even want to fight James DeGale. They'll only go to 168 for a PPV.

Andre Ward never said anything about "needing a couple of tune-ups for GGG". Where are these "several interviews" where Ward says he's not ready for GGG?

It was Virgil Hunter who said he'd like Andre to have a couple of tune-ups to shake off the rust - he didn't say "for GGG" - that's just something Golovkin fans like to add to the hype.

Stop the lies. Golovkin fantards are desperately trying to take advantage of the fact that Ward has been out the ring for 2 years.

Ali did not need tune up fights after being out for three and a half years. Leonard did not need tune up fights after fighting once in five years and came back directly into a title fight. Mayweather did not need tune up fights after coming back from retirement. There are many other examples to be found of champions coming back after longer layoffs than Ward straight into a major fight or a title fight.

But Ward needs two or three tune ups? Seriously? Guess he really is not the fighter his adoring fans claim him to be, is he?
