I'm curious about the next opponent for GGG, if not Froch. What can we have in MW that represents a "threat" to Golovkin?
Froch has had a year to meet with his family and Hearn since the Groves fight - and anyway what are phones for if not to yap on - its not like he can't afford the phone bill. Do we suppose Froch hasn't found any time to talk to his wife over the last year about what direction his career might take?

It is indisputable that this isn't the strongest middle weight division but even so Golovkin has trailed a path of destruction through and over any fighter brave enough to stand in his path. He's done everything asked of him and more. Lee and Lemieux stand a puncher's chance and not much more. Quillen and Jacobs have more mobility than Lee and Lemieux but I'm not convinced that they could take the punches of GGG. N'Dam would be a more tricky version of Willie Monroe, but he was down 6 times against Quillen. Saunders and Eubank are 2 steps down from GGG. That in a nutshell is GGG's problem - he has them all scared and time is not on his side.

What Network is Lara fighting on next?
What is the weight or his next fight?

Let's see what Saunders thinks about Golovkin, shall we?

Froch is just a weak brit fraud scared of GGG

Froch is scared to meet GGG just as Froch the weak wimp Brit was scared of a Ward rematch for years and a Dirrell rematch. Froch got hot air and nothing more. Brits talk and let others fight. Froch is a FRAUD. Now if that is Salty put it on your crumpet wimp?

Now you'll have us believe that the belts he was stripped of and gave up because they are not important to him and he couldn't get motivated to defend them against the likes of Degale is the very same belt that now acts as a motivation to fight that very same DeGale. You're scraping.

As a frequent guest on Sky Sports Froch is NOT naive when it comes to speaking in front of the media - ergo he knows that when he is asked a question by an interviewer his reply goes far beyond any utterance he might make from "a big podium" and he is in fact broadcasting to the World media.

Lets hope that while Froch is planting pansies on the garden he can come to some conclusion soon. He's a big name but lets face it Canelo's and Cotto's are much larger names so if by some miracle either of them grows a pair Froch might be left tending his precious garden or scrabbling to get back his IBF belt.
                "Barely defensible"

Froch hasn't done anything wrong. Reporters asked him about his future and a potential fight with Golovkin. He's always said he might retire or he might fight Golovkin but he's confident he could beat him.

What is indefensible about that exactly?

It's not necessarily about the belt itself with DeGale. It's that DeGale has now gone to America and beat a quality fighter. DeGale is now a much bigger and more popular fighter in the UK. Does that not register with you at all? Beating DeGale before didn't mean anything, now he's gone and made a name for himself, it does. The fight is an easier sell to the public. It's not that hard to understand.

I don't think you have to worry about Froch lol he made £9m to knock out Groves at Wembley. It's not as if he needs to "scrabble" for anything. Unlike Golovkin who is 33 and has zero legacy whatsoever.

Do you follow boxing? After both GGG's last two fights, his manager has come out and said that if Lara wants to fight, he can make it happen. And what has he done to make it happen? A big fat nothing as far as I can tell.

GGG apparently has an exclusive HBO contract so therefore it's down to Loeffler to get on the blower to Lara's people and make an offer. Why doesn't he do that? He's happy to call Froch, Cotto, Canelo etc - aka the money fights. But he won't take a risk on his boy looking bad in a lower paying but good fight against Lara.

Golovkin will take his step-aside money like a "Good Boy" and then go fight another road sweeper.

Oh man that sucks,I dont want to believe that but the more I think about it the more I think you could be right.

So I guess we are back to 0(the number of fighter with balls to face GGG).
