I'm really really happy Cotto did that last night!
It's going to make Canelo Cotto sell even better, and Canelo is going to get mad props when he bombs on Cotto and the "Cotto was old, Cotto wasn't good" won't hold any weight now!

Canelo going to war with that boy.

BUT????? this man put in the work and destroyed Geale easily...i mean easily...he will stop Canelo in a war this year and bring the DRAMA SHOW GGG NEEDS.... middle weight has a new monster..... WAR COTTO!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cotto, in his own words "is not a middleweight", I don't see a legitimate middleweight fight between GGG and Cotto, mark my words.

We may see Mayweather at 155 or some bs catchweight and we will definitely see Canelo at 155, maybe slightly less.

I've been saying for years Cotto beats Canelo, that's no surprise, neither was his win last night. When you drain a guy to death, you're likely to win but when you drain a guy to death who has no balls, then you definitely win. Geale is the richest quitter in the sport.

I didn't see anything from Cotto last night that I haven't seen in years, everyone claiming Roach has changed Cotto will be saying Roach is overrated next time he goes up against a truly elite fighter (e.g. GGG, Pacquiao or Mayweather).

GGG said he'll fight anyone from 154 and up, im sure a fight around 156 can be made for either Cotto or Canelo.

Should be an asterisk next to every catchweight fight.

Cotto isn't taking the GGG fight unless there is no other option and the finances are HUGE. Look at Cotto's expression when asked about GGG and then he stuttered to "w-w-why not"...lol He's learning from TBE.

Dude, Cotto has been asked that question a million times, Im sure he knew Max was going to ask it again. He stuttered because English isn't his first language if you havn't noticed.

I don't know if he'll handle GGG's power, but the more I watch Cotto the more I like his chances. He is an absolute monster at MW. Definitely top 2 in that weight class.

Roach needs to get some credit here. This is possibly Roach's best job as a trainer. Cotto was on his way out after the Trout fight. He looked slow, hesitant, and just downright bad. He hooks up with Freddie, they move up to MW, and he's the best he's ever looked. I didn't want to give him full credit for the Sergio performance because I thought Sergio was totally shot, but after this performance against Geale he's established himself as a real threat.

                    Cotto a monster?

Geale got destroyed by Golovkin recently in his first stoppage of his career and was weight drained to 157. Take that into account before you go throwing the word "monster" around.

Ive only watches the first couple rounds before being distracted but he looks good to me. Surprising how good his legs look considering i thought he was on his way to being shot not long ago.

Canelo will be an extremely interesting fight, GGG will be a step to far imo. Cotto even at his age looks quicker on his feet than Canelo
