Larry, I am going to be brutally honest with you. Canelo vs Cotto will most likely take place at 154, and Canelo will stop him easier than he stopped Kirkland because Roach might give him bad advice which would lead to him getting knocked out.

Golovkin beats that Diva to a Bloody Pulp with relative ease. I doubt that Cotto could beat Andy Lee, David Lemiux, Peter Quillin, or Hassan N'Dam for that matter.

I thought he boxed beautifully, throwing all the catchweight **** out the door.

He was accurate, quick on his feet, and defensively responsible. He also gave something back everytime Geale tried to get started. Geale was still in round 1 during round 3 while Cotto was fighting like it was the second half of the fight.

Could the catchweight of effected Geale? Probably. Would Cotto of taken longer if Geale was allowed to weigh at 160? Maybe.

HOWEVER.. Cotto will lose to Canelo and Golovkin due to the sheer size combined with skill. Both Canelo and Golovkin weigh 170-175 on fight night. They're both accurate and select their punches well for them not to eventually have the "1 punch can change a fight" come in.

However after tonight I give Cotto a BETTER chance to win than I have since before tonight.

Larry talking about middleweight has a new monster, Cotto talking about "I'm not a middleweight".

If middleweight has a new monster, he can fight middleweights at 160. I'm with Cotto, he's a junior middleweight, and that's where he should fight.

Ya I think catchweight or not cotto would bomb out geale. He was vastly superior. I'm impressed by cotto and think he's the second best mw but geale proved again he's just there for a cheque.

I'll say this: Cotto can fight. However, Geale is weak and Canelo is no Geale. Canelo is smart enough to not get baited into a catch weight, which will leave him at a disadvantage. He's simply too big, skilled and strong for Cotto, and has learned much since virtually choking against Mayweather. Should be a good fight, but Alvarez wipes Cotto once he hurts him.

I do believe it. You need to accept the fact that people think Cotto is past it. You need to accept that people think he is around the end of his career. It's almost time for him to hang the gloves up.
