Brook has a strong jab and legit power in his right hand.
      Julio Diaz hurt him worse.

Brook has as good of chance as anyone at welter to beat floyd...

Does he actually beat floyd, probably not but he would have a better chance than most

Just ask yourself this question:What does Brook do that Floyd's never seen before?

I'm not sure he needs to. That's not his game. He needs to commit to his jab and counter Floyd's counters. Maidana had success in the center of the ring at times.

It's not one way to beat him. Rough and tough isn't the only way to get the job done.

Just can't see that being successful.

How is he going to counter Floyd'd counters? Not going to happen.

As an example, Maidana threw a jab, Floyd tried to pull counter over top but Maidana had a right hand waiting for him and had him hurt at the end of the round.

brook doesn't have the experience to give floyd a run for his money, imo. and he's a chore to watch. amir khan is the more entertaining fight.

floyd has beaten numerous fighters with skills that trumps both, yet it's maidana who's the only guy since castillo to make an argument. you need more than straight boxing skills to beat floyd, brook doesn't have the intangibles or the style to do it.

                    Few and far between.

Plus, that was a lot to do with his aggression and awkward unpredictable offense.

Brook is too basic, he's going to box from the outside, he's not going to be able to have the success Maidana did.

This fight will look more like the Canelo fight.
