"Are you serious right now?", you know people with pale skin are more likely to bruise even if they get grazed? I guess biology has never been a strength of yours, going off your logic, the winner of a race should be the one least tired. Boxing has nothing to do with facial damage or else Maidana would have beaten both Khan and Maidana. Also, bruises will be less apparent on people with more melanin so why on Earth is that irrelevant? Please educate yourself on the meaning of defence. Bruises can be caused by one punch, if you dodge everything else but that, does it mean you have a **** defence?

Two reasons why Ortiz was landing on Maidana: (1) Ortiz was in his physical prime and being 100% aggressive so of course he's going to land some bombs. It's boxing. Shit happens. Just because Maidana isn't Mayweather doesn't mean he doesn't have a good defense. (2) Maidana wasn't with Robert Garcia at the time.

Do you have any idea how contradictory this is to your original argument? Your whole argument was showing Lucas getting hit with one big shot from Provo and saying when did Maidana ever get hit like that. The posters in this have clearly showed you that it does happen to Maidana and how weak of an argument you are giving. My Mayweather example was to show you how ****** it is to base anything off one punch (bc even Mayweather gets caught). I don't expect him to be Mayweather but by your logic he is better than Mayweather bc he rocked Mayweather and hasn't got rocked himself.

Floyd fights like a scared girl and doesn't commit to anything. there's nothing to take from that, just about everyone else Maidana has fought has done more damage to him and landed more consistently than Mayweather. Broner who was getting his sht pushed in majority of the fight did more damage to Maidana.

Maidana's defence isn't as good as Mayweather made it seem.

You never said what? You literally posted Lucas getting hit by Ruslan three separate times in this to argue a point and wrote "when do you see Maidana get hit with bungalows like this?"

Getting a KO vs going the distance has nothing to do with your defense. You are now just arguing why you think Maidana is better now, not why you think his defense is better. And it wasn't just the Ortiz fight, he gets hit with big shots in every fight, Ortiz was just the last guy with the power to seriously hurt him. Mayweather, Khan, Alexander, and Lopez all landed very flush on him, they are just not punchers
