For the longest time I thought it was clearly Mayweather but with the Cotto comments he has made over the last year or so and his diva demands he has over taken Mayweather in this category. Now even though Mayweather is a big diva himself, I can see it with his accomplishments in the ring however Cotto's accomplishments doesn't compare to Mayweather's at all. If it wasn't for Cotto's fan base, people wouldn't care about him at all and he would have fallen into obscurity with him failing to win big fights.
In your opinion, who is more egotistical? Cotto or Mayweather?Comment

Hmm, Mayweather got the recent Chino gloves fiasco. But Cotto from here on out is gonna make every MW fight a CW. Besides unlike Cotto, Mayweather didn't ***** to Cotto about weight, or gloves or who comes out last. He fought him at 154 with mx gloves and even came in first because Cotto was the Champ.
2) Cotto didn't come in last against Martinez.
3) If he was willing to fight Cotto with MX gloves then why not Maidana?
People forget that Marquez was the one who challenged Mayweather to fight at 147 and they ended up fighting at a catchweight, people also forget that Canelo challenged Floyd to fight at 150 and they fought at 152, people also forget that Maidana was trying to pull some slick **** before the fight where the glove controversy happened.
Miguel has no excuse doing what he's doing now.
The popularity was achieved by winning titles in 4 weight classes. I don't care how many advantages he's had throughout his career, he's not even close to a bum. If you genuinely believe he's a bum you either don't like him and are too emotional or you don't know **** about boxing. Take your pick.Comment

Just because you're a draw, doesn't make you a great fighter. Look at a guy like Chavez Jr. who is a prime example. He's a horrible fighter yet he's easily a big draw and draws huge ratings and look at a guy like Andre Ward. He has virtually no fans yet he is p4p top tier talent. Popularity and talent are two different things.Comment

Its a question of ego/resume proportion. Floyd is a prick, but at least he has a very good resume, on the other hand Cotto has a lot of losses, and a pair wins over one legged and one eyed fighters. Cotto = Charlie ZelenoffComment
