see theirs a huge difference here, Mayweather has paid the cost to be the boss, Cotto hasnt.

He literally a bum with some fame and a belt he has no business having and hes milking it hard.

Way too many people forget this, especially when the same 'humble warrior' Cotto then demands 'A Side' treatment against Martinez under the same circumstances.

100% Diva, allowed to get away with it by his delusional fans.

Cotto walked in first against Sergio

        The poster said Cotto/Martinez

May weather walked in first against Cotto

        The poster said May weather/Cotto

Soooo...literally the A sides did things the same way, respected their champ opponents

        Try again

People forget that Marquez was the one who challenged Mayweather to fight at 147 and they ended up fighting at a catchweight, people also forget that Canelo challenged Floyd to fight at 150 and they fought at 152, people also forget that Maidana was trying to pull some slick **** before the fight where the glove controversy happened.

Miguel has no excuse doing what he's doing now.

            This.

            Totally correct.

Again, one 'A side' was the undefeated, long-reigning #1 P4P fighter/PPV attraction in the world, while the other 'A Side' clearly lost (yet magically convinced himself he had 'won') his last 2 meaningful fights (Mayweather/Trout) and who's only 'win' in the previous 2 1/2 years was a fight against a Edwin Rodriguez.

Yeah, they're in the same position to make demands.

              Like I said earlier:

Floyd and Cotto should have big egos....they're BOTH huge drawers...they're the money men in their weight classes....they've won titles in more than three weight classes...and both will be inducted into the HOF when they retire....they're bosses not divas...

                  No they don't.

Now even though Mayweather is a big diva himself, I can see it with his accomplishments in the ring however Cotto's accomplishments doesn't compare to Mayweather's at all. If it wasn't for Cotto's fan base, people wouldn't care about him at all and he would have fallen into obscurity with him failing to win big fights.

In your opinion, who is more egotistical? Cotto or Mayweather?
So demanding a Catchweight that other fighters do all the time makes him egotistical? And no boxer would be relevant without a fanbase not just Cotto, this comment made zero sense. I think Boxingscene with there dumb threads about Cotto's comments are to blame for taking everything out of proportion.
