Not entirely true anymore. Since the time of Robinson-Maxim most states (including NY) have set limits as to the maximum weight difference between the combatants. Without looking it up, I think NY is either 10 lbs or maybe 12 lbs at that weight, I dont remember. So assuming its 12, then if Geale weighed in at 157, then Cotto could be no lighter than 145
