Cotto should be stripped of this title. He went up in weight to cherry pick a old one legged man who he ducked for years when he was healthy. He obviously can still make 154. Everyone wants to see Cotto fight Canelo, but it's not like it needs to be on the line for that fight to sell it's a mega fight whether it's for the 154 belt, 160 belt or non championship fight. Plus Canelo been trying to fight Cotto for years well before he got that 160 belt he just wants to add Cotto's scalp to his resume it's obvious he could care less about the belt. But it's a disgrace what Cotto is doing and he has no intentions of fighting GGG so he needs to either vacate it or be stripped. He's made a mockery of the Middleweight division long enough.

It's just ridiculous to me. A fighter is defending his title and yet comes in a pound under the weight class under the weightclass he is defending his title in... Explain how that is okay?

There is a minimumweight. You are not allowed to weigh in excess of 3% of Cotto's weight for a mediummiddleweight fight.

I didn't understand much of that post and I certainly did not get how Canelo suddenly became a topic.
