Kell Brook Avoiding Keith Thurman? [video]

In an interview a few days prior to the Gavin fight last weekend, Brook said the following about Keith Thurman. Interesting to note that Khan previously said very similar things about Brook (to the point that Brook seems to be reciting some of Khan's words here) but some people have claimed he's avoiding Brook.

"I definitely put Thurman as the most dangerous welterweight out there for me. It's a hard fight but it's winnable. I'd be very excited about that fight but I think the fight... His name's starting to grow now and it's one of them tough fights that can't just be made next. I think we have to go and fight some good opposition and it's built into a massive fight for me and Thurman because it's a very dangerous fight for both of us."

Obviously it can't be made next because Thurman is fighting in July you potato head

    Khanturds these days...

Other than that, he's absolutely right in everything he says. Both of them need to improve their name in the WW division before fighting each other so it could be a massive fight. Right now it's a good, big fight. But it's not MASSIVE like Brook-Khan is.

So if this is your theory for Kell ducking Thurman? . . . Then surely the same applies to Khan ducking Kell?

      Am I right?

I don't know, I see that more as Brook speaking the truth than avoiding him. I mean he still said that he'd fight him down the line.

If you notice it was a question, not a statement. Personally I don't think Khan is avoiding Brook, or Brook is avoiding Thurman. But their reasoning is the same.

For those who claim Khan is avoiding Brook, they have to say Brook is avoiding Thurman because both fighters give very similar reasons for not moving forward with those fights just yet.

You're saying Brook and Thurman are ducking each other? Can you clarify?

No that's not true at all.

Khan is clearly ducking Brook and everybody knows it. I was speaking to a friend of mine from the Daily Star yesterday and he said Khan asked them not to ask questions about Brook before the interview started.

                  Completely pathetic.

NO, I'm saying both have a good idea of what happening in their career. They know their next two opponents and that's it's not each other. On top of that it's quite clear both are each others biggest rival. So they want it on the back burner.

But they are wrong....they should fight

Brook vs Thurman does more for the sport that a hundred Mayweather vs Pacquiao fights
