I'm talking about Golovkin and I'm not a "bandwagon type" nor do I necessarily think his resume is awesome. But you can only destroy opponents who have the courage to get in the ring with you. His resume may not have the names on it to be awesome, but HE IS AWESOME! I was once a doubter, but he's showed me he's the best 160 pounder by far and the other top guys are scared to death of him. Time will prove GGG supporters correct, and soon even his harshest critics will be forced to admit his merit.

I was referring to my neutrality in the Garcia case. In his case I would be able to be objective if I were to have a conversation about him because un like with Cotto have no loyalty for him as a fan. In reference to Cotto I never claimed to be objective I'm always too busy defending the guy against his haters. Blanco on the other hand hates Cotto and his fans and never says a positive thing about the guy so he can't possibly be objective. Another example I don't like Mayweather but I believe he is the best boxer of this generation.

That's simply not true. I saw Blanco saying positive things about Cotto until fairly recently.

A lot of people were fence sitting on Cotto for a long time. His questionable streak of old injured opponents after the Manny fight could have been mere coincidence.

He's finally erased all doubt, left with a MW title and two of the biggest names in boxing begging for a fight, he says he won't fight them because they "haven't beaten anyone"... Then fights their destroyed leftovers at a catchweight.

Even I primarily blamed Martinez, Foreman, etc for misleading the public when they knew they were injured, Mayorga for talking his way into a paycheck, etc. At most I chided Cotto fans for being overly celebratory of cringeworthy victories in fights that shouldn't have been sanctioned, but not Cotto himself.

There's just no room for doubt left anymore. Cotto does this stuff on purpose. He hand picked those guys and is still at it. Once you realize what's up and go through his record holy **** it's obvious.

I'm not going to argue with you about Blanco, the guy is a disgrace of a Puerto Rican if he really is of Puerto Rican parents.
As for Cotto's career, it wasn't until recently when he started picking his opponents with Roach's help. When he was with TOP Rank they chose his opponents.
Cotto is not ducking Canelo he just didn't want TR involved in that deal, he will fight him next if he beats Geale. The only guy I can give with youon is GGG because Cotto is ducking him but only because of the high risk low reward scenario. Cotto is fighting Geale as a tune up of sorts that's why it was never planed as a PPV. I guarantee you that if Cotto beats Canelo and Mayweather doesn't show interest in the MW title Cotto will fight GGG. Cotto is at the tail end of his career he is just making business minded moves these days. and I'm ok with that.

This is a boxing forum MORON not a political forum and on this Boxing forum the only thing that is important is boxing. cotto is better then ggg so don't compare the 2 cotto is going into the hall of fame and has fought the best ggg hasn't even touched a vote in the hall of fame yet and has no name on his resume cotto is not looking over geale if he was the canelo fight would be done already they have a lot of negotiations to go for that fight with canelo thinking he's the bigger draw
