Oh wow, what a truly terrible fight.

Garcia's fights since beating Khan :
Morales, Judah, Lucas, Herrera, Salka, Peterson, Malignaggi.

If his career goes any further backwards, he will be wearing head gear and fighting in the amateurs.

Im not a fan of neither of them but I hope Paulie wins it lol. I dont like Paulie but Garcia is starting to annoy me with his bs fights. Lets see him have an official lost to Paulie, it would be epic

At least Algieri is an active fighter in his prime. It is a fact that Paulie is in his mid 30's and clearly past his overrated prime, with no power to keep Garcia off him.

Adrien Broner beat Paulie's ass almost 2 years ago. 2 years ago.

No, Paulie Malignaggi is not even remotely capable of doing something he couldn't do against a worse fighter 2 years ago. I'm not exaggerating at all.

I swear people pick and choose when and when not to ignore the passage of time on this site. It's not 2008 anymore, Paulie and Collazo are going to get their asses kicked.

Broner didn't beat his ass lmao. Paulie was boxing circles around Broner in parts of the fight. Broner won that 7-5, 8-4 at best.

I never said it was 2008. How is this even relevant? I never even mentioned the passing of time. I think it's a winnable fight because DSG is terrible, and even a past-prime paulie can box his ears off.

I respect this post much more than your first because you at least tried to explain your reasoning instead of giving a conclusory statement.

If Herrera and Peterson didn't beat Garcia, I fail to see how Paulie is going to. Best case, he makes it close and then complain about how he was robbed (ie. Broner fight). Paulie is NOT getting the W even if he earns it.

You have to still be thinking of Paulie in terms of who he used to be rather than who he is now to think he can beat Garcia. That's why I said that. Paulie is past it. He hasn't looked good in years. His only decent performance was against whatever was left of Zab Judah. It's been a long time since he's been a fighter capable of beating champion fighters like Garcia.

Garcia has struggled lately, but against much better fighters than Paulie. Herrera and Peterson would dominate Paulie Malignaggi.
