I think the PBC usually gives us decent fights. However, I have to agree with you on this one if it happens.

Nevertheless, I have to give Haymon credit. He is keeping his fighters busy and paying them well. That is all you can ask for as a fighter and more than you can ask for if you are a mid-level gatekeeper like Malignaggi or Luis Collazo.

We know Thurman,Broner,Porter,Khan,Guerrero,Algieri,etc... are NOT available for August. That's just the facts! So knowing that, they picked the best dude available for August, which is clearly, thanks to his injury, Paulie.

As for the fight itself, this is a VERY dangerous fight for Danny since Paulie has a extremely high punch output and Danny traditionally has a low punch output.
The fact that you consider Paulie to be dangerous against anyone, kinda makes it seem like you might not know much about boxing yourself. Garcia does the same thing that porter did, albiet a bit slower. He'll knock him out by the 6th or 7th round.

I actually think Malignaggi has a decent chance.

This all really depends on whether Garcia attempts to clean up his mistakes and establish a game plan.

Terrible fight. I guess it will be in the Barclays in Brooklyn again. Herrera jabbed the shyt out of Garcia and it could happen again

you guys need to stop with this crap. it shows a lack of understanding of boxing.

angel taught danny how to fight. it's his freaking father.

compare the possibility of some tiny contributions made in a 10 week training camp to the complications stemming from switching trainers [and firing your f#cking father,]

Garcia's got decent counter-punching ability. Nacho perhaps?
