This is a voluntary defence from Deontay. His mandatory is Povetkin sometimes this Fall I guess.

This fight will be an early KO - inside 2 rounds, probably 1st round.

To be sure, it's Deontay who will score the KO.

I knew your agenda against any fighter that exists before 2000 would come into play here.

That said I've seen Molina fight before once (against Arreola) this is a KO 1 type of fight for Wilder (who I think is a very poor fighter).

Meh there have been worse defenses. Besides it's a voluntary defense. Wilder doesn't have to do a dang thing until he fights Povetkin if he wants, He could just hide out in the gym until he walks out to face Sasha.

Instead he wants to give his hometown fans a show, gain exposure and make him and Molina some extra cash. None of the top 10 contenders watch to fight him so why not face a tall guy who might at least give him some rounds. I think it's smarter then Jennings or Pulev who have zilcho since their Wlad losses..

Stop lying to the people here,Molina has no.shot, even if he landed the perfect punch on Wilders suspect chin..

This dude has no passion or drive..He won the lotto and get a lil$$$.

He's a fraud..just ask his former trainer James Gouge..

Why do people keep saying Wilder has a "suspect chin"? what a load of BS. I'm starting to think most people have never seen Wilder actually fight, they just go off what Wilder-haters say on boards like this. Wilder took several nice shots from Stiverne, a 248 lb beast and was never even hurt. Meanwhile people talk about Povetkin's "great chin" as he goes down like 5 times to Wlad's jab.

Wilder does not have a "suspect chin", what a crock..

Disagree 100%. I think a lot of cats in the top 10 would fight him if not all of them, but it sounds like they threw some lowball offers around & Molina's team bit. Good for them its an opportunity, but most top ten cats can probably make 2x what Molina's getting for fighting a lesser guy so it makes no sense to take less money now.

The ducking talk is out of control on all boxing forums. There is always more context than fans wanna think about going on with choices guys make or don't make at any particular time. You can't be saying anyone is being ducked when they are only offering x dollars for a fight thats worth 2x, 3x that offer.

I don't want Wilder to lose, but it'd be funny if he struggled and went 'life and death' with Molina

Sure the top 10 guys would fight him for massive paydays but a Wilder fight is going to be a lotto ticket if he unifies after he beats an ancient Wlad. I think a lot of contenders look at a 29-year old Wilder and see his talent and see he's not going anywhere. If you're Pulev, Fury, Joshua, etc and you can grab a Wilder fight you it will be like a Mayweather fight now, massive paydays..
