Do you think Brook vs Gavin would have been PPV on its own? yeah, sure. If I was in Britain I would have probably bought the card yes. It was a damn good show.

Yeah - Maybe because it hasn't happened yet? Frank Warren said the same thing only a week or two ago that those gloves might be banned. If they are fighting in 2½ months it might have happened by then. Brook fought Porter who wore those exact gloves, they don't give a ***. But they still have to abide by the rules in a British sanctioned fight.

You just don't have a clue about british boxing mate. You literally don't know anything about it and your comments reveal it.
Goober thinks that only American fighters have promoters who are given dates and obligations by TV companies. He's never stepped his fat arse outside America, you have to kinda forgive his ignorance and ******ity I guess. There are a lot of them like that over there.

And Goober had the nerve to say that Kell should push his date back to wait for these guys.

Am I mistaken or is Kell Brook not the IBF Welterweight champion. Why would he fit his schedule around these guys?

Ive asked Goober that question at least 30 times and he goes MIA or ducks it.

I have literally taken his soul over the past few days that he's resorted to bumping my year old threads. He's lost it.
          All Brook's fault doe.

Bradley would have probably been next in line for Brook, but he chose to give up his position in the IBF making the fight unlikely - especially as Bradley is probably going to be WBO champ again.

They probably could of offered Matthysse enough to fight him at 147.
Here's the list of people Brook could choose from:

          SNO Name Country
          1 NOT RATED
          2 NOT RATED
          3 Amir Khan England
          4 Sadam Ali United States
          5 Diego Chaves Argentina
          6 Devon Alexander United States
          7 Kevin Bizier Canada
          8 Fredrick Lawson Ghana
9 Chris Van Heerden South Africa
          10 Konstantin Ponomarev Russian Federation
          11 Dan Ion Romania
          12 Shawn Porter United States
          13 Brandon Rios United States
          14 Frankie Gavin England
          15 Viktor Plotnikov Ukraine

          - Khan? Doesn't want it.
          - Alexander? He already beat the guy who smashed him, plus coming off an embarrassing loss
          - Sadam Ali? Who?
          - Porter? Already beat him
          - Jo Jo Dan? Already beat him
          - Frankie Gavin? Already beat him
          - Diego Chaves? Guaranteed stinkfest

That leaves.... bam da da daaaam... Brandon Rios.

Diego Chaves is apparently going to fight Devon and the winner of that will be Brook's next mandatory.

Oh and Goober, Bradley PULLED OUT of the chance to fight for the IBF mandatory spot and also turned down Rios to fight Jessie Vargas

                Brook's fault doe.

He beat Dan in March. Bradley-Vargas was announced early May. His next fight is August. If he skipped Gavin that's 5 empty months say he got Bradley. Not bad when you needed 4 years of mandatory status before materializing a title shot.

Pretty much.. any one of those guys would get Brook twice the amount of hate he gets for fighting Brandon Rios who always delivers a show and looked great against a (crackhead) Alvarado in his last fight.

Also its nonsense for people bringing up the JoJo Dan fight since he was the mandatory. People getting upset a champion actually fights his mandatory is dumb. Khan is always available but at the same time he isn't and Khan is ******. A boxer not wanting to win a world title is ******.

Brook-Gavin was a semi-historic fight (if you want to say that) since it was the first British vs British for a Welterweight title in years and they could of added that to a Brook-Khan build up.

Brook just needs to dismantle Rios and move on. Get the Khan fight then get wins over Bradley, Thurman, and soon Errol Spence.
