I doubt there have been any "talks" unless his team begging for the fight counts as "talks" which it probably does to Amir.

i thought about it right after the pacquiao fight. i dont get why floyd wouldnt just fight garcia at 140 and cotto at 157/160 in his next 2 fights. it'd give him 4 lineal belts at once and 6 in his career which are all brand new records. he'd retire 50-0 and have like 10 alphabet belts all at the same time. it'd be an amazing way to retire.

he'd probably have to fight danny first since cotto is fighting in 3 days and probably wouldn't be interested in fighting in september right away.

I'd be surprised if Floyd takes the fight, lets be honest he has ducked Khan at least twice before and his dad Floyd Sr admitted that Khan would beat Floyd. Would be a shocker if Floyd signs the contract this time for real but an amazing match up that could prove to be Floyd's toughest fight yet!

I fear for Khan with any decent ww. How Algieri was allowed to hit him with lefts and rights and have impact with his little power MUST be very disturbing for even the loyal worshippers .Amir is in melt down and is falling apart at the seems.His family should be kind to him and tell him his dreams are over and the pain will only get worst.
