Two things.....

1) Ward is the man. He is exactly what Team Golovkin need to break into PPV. Golovkin does not have a huge fanbase, he is not a huge draw, and is not a huge payday..... so Sanchez stating that Ward needs to make Golovkin an offer, tells the whole story

2) Sanchez has been asked about Ward on numerous occasions, and he has provided a number of excuses - all ridiculous - to kill that fight..... so I am not surprised at all to see him standing tall for once..... they have likely heard the talk.

Saying that they will fight Ward, means nothing..... especially when you have no credible opposition, and have made numerous excuses to kill any talk of that fight.

Team Golovkin have done a lot of talking over the last 3-4 years, but have still never landed a meaningful opponent.

Team Golovkin also said this.....

" Gennady will fight EVERYONE from 154-168 ".

Its all marketing and media hype, and I dont believe a word of it.

No the DIFFERENCE is that Cotto is holding the MW belt.

And as great of a challenge as Ward will be, he is not the type of opponent needed to be a PPV star. GGG is already a bigger draw than him, Ward has become irrelevant by his own inactivity. That fight will happen, personally I don't care when but I know Ward said he needs a few tune-ups and he still hasn't fought the first one yet.
