Thanks for that ^^
I have no interest in that fight.
And now that lame payday is off the table, it is more likely that Hypekin will step up and take on a real challenge.

I bet he saw that fight and said, "Oh ****, I'm glad I didn't fight Canelo!"
Since getting blasted by Ishida in round 1, what has Kirkland done ?
He left Wolfe, fought lower-tier guys, and was inactive for 2 years before Canelo..... and he has always struggled with consistancy.
That was a massive assumption, based on nothing.

Well, what happened every time Golovkin stepped up and fought an elite guy ?

GGG speaks spanish until it's Lara's name calling.
GGG is down w/ Cali until it's Ward's name calling.
GGG just needs to man up. His best win is considered a tune up for Cotto, a washed up Jr. WW - sad

I dare you.
Golovkin is the number one MW contender. Cotto is the WBC MW champion. Why the hell wouldn't they fight?? Last time I checked, this was a competitive sport.
GGG is a hard puncher for sure, but he is not this beast that he is made out to be. Kind of remind me of Lucas before he fought and lost to Danny Garcia.

Truths brah.
No pity for someone who will not challenge himself; but do not mind fighting smaller or inexperienced or limited fighters.
We need to see more quality and less mediocre quantity.

I really like Cotto and I dont want to call him a duck because he has faced the best in his great career. He even faced Margarito when he was considered the boogie man, but this language Cotto is currently using is the language of a duck and I dont like it. Please bring the old Cotto back.

Why do you kids need to do that ******ed shht ?
It is clearly obvious that Cotto is not a genuine middleweight, and not Golovkins "own size".
So, because of the importance of fairness GGG cannot fight a larger opponent, despite his trainer saying "anyone from 154-168"...... and yet with Cotto, close enough is ok, right ?
* Cotto is not a genuine MW, but he will fight there if suitable (Geale)
* Golovkin is not a genuine SMW, but he will fight there is suitable (Froch)
* Cotto will fight Canelo, and lesser opponents, but not Golovkin
* Golovkin will fight Froch, and lesser opponents, but not Ward
It is exactly the same situation, except that Cotto is a proven veteran, and Golovkin is not.
Keep sucking those GGG balls son.
Agreed. They will stoop to anything to see Cotto fall. From Plaster wraps to pretending Cotto is a legit MW. Give it time and they will be talking Cotto VS Kovalev.
Silly peasants.

Golovkin is already 32 which makes it tougher. James Toney was the last guy to ever start at 154 or 160 in his career and get three titles.
Nobody sees Golovkin beating Toney prime for prime either.
Two people agreed, and I think I was the only one who disagreed/laughed.
I hold Toney in higher regard than most people seem to, I think he was a great fighter..... if Golovkin gets even close to Toney I will be impressed, but lets be honest here..... I can see that Golovkin is not the same calibre of fighter as Toney, I dont need to wait for his career to play out.
