I've lost respect for Cotto, though I realize he's only gaming the system to finish out his career as he pleases. But he dishonors himself as a competitor by ducking the guy whom everyone (and I mean everyone) knows is the badass at 160 -- the division where Cotto holds the lineal title.

Geale is soft competition at any weight , and I don't give a damn what his ranking is . Cotto is currently perpetrating a complete fraud to the world of boxing . He is an illusion wrapped in a masquerade , d****d in an inigma . Who is the real Cotto ? The real Cotto is the guy we saw get dominated by Trout . His fight against Martinez was a sham as Martinez either threw that fight or truly had a crippling leg injury which he knew would prevent him from winning . That last guy who Cotto KOed was shining shoes at union station . Hopefully he's out of rabbits feet as au****ious circumstances seem to follow his career . Even Mayweather helped him look good by choosing to stay on the ropes to make the bout seem competitive . Cotto seems to constantly be able to reinvent himself as a formittable top notch guy , and frankly it's sickening . He so reminds me of that Japanese food engineering program where they found a way to convert fecses into edible food . I pray Geale's lack luster azz can expose him , but I doubt he can as he's just a tomato .

I think its pretty obvious Cotto doesn't want anything to do with GGG - who would KO him inside of 5 rounds. Hopefully, if the money talks he will fight Canelo who will also KO him.

if cotto isn't a true mw like his fans say, why doesn't he vacate the belt and go down to 154 lbs? if he is such a big draw, like he and his fans believe, he can make big money with or without the belt, right?

Cotto loses miserably to both Canelo and GGG. He doesnt have it anymore and hasnt had it since he was beat to a pulp by Margarito, dont get me wrong illegal wraps or not Margarito beat Cotto if Cotto was that good he would have and should have won as Margarito was far overrated in all aspects of his fight game and always has been, his style was the only difficult thing about him. Cotto has lost in all his major shots against all major opponents and will do so once or twice again especially if he faces Alverez or GGG. Cotto should not be talking about legacy or anything like that especially considering who he has lost to. You can fight all the top names but if you dont beat any of them your just as good as a guy that hasnt fought a top name and calls you out
