he has already wavered on his word a couple of times. i expect him to delay the mandatory deadline until after the cotto-canelo fight, at which point i expect cotto to vacate if he is victorious. or maybe cling onto it just long enough to entice mayweather into a rematch, which mauricio would probably also allow. mayweather would surely also get first dibs on a victorious canelo, but if that didn't happen then canelo might be in a position where his pride forces him to face golovkin. it would be the most lucrative fight available to him by then anyway

Excuses, lol. Just check out his resume and let me know what fight is his defining fight. The guy is 33 years old and has done nothing of note. Says he'll fight anyone from 154 -168 but then brings excuses for certain fighters. You can keep playing bodyguard for him though. 33 years old, smh.

You apparently do not know the definition of what an excuse is because I gave none, I only stated the facts. He might be 33 but he has done enough to make you comment on him so where does that put you. Also, I would never play anyone's bodyguard because frankly I am not a fanboy of any boxer in particular, I am an actual fan of the sport. I get my wiggles wiggling from seeing who the best is regardless of creed, culture, or color. If GGG is the best than great if he gets beaten by someone better than that's great too but to down play his accomplishments both professional and amateur shows your level of boxing comprehension and maturity.
