Has he proven himself to be the best, maybe not to all, but he is surely trying and I would say he is pretty close. He is a 160lbs champion that wants to clean out the division so more power to him. He has every right to ask for the other belts so I don't understand all this "A" side "B" side ****. Who cares who earns more money its not like its going into your bank account, what we should care about is champions being champions and that means fighting the very best.
The problem is he's fighting 4 times a year against garbage and lol, was it respectful to say that he was letting Monroe his him on purpose?

I don't know if you guys are trolling or just ignorant about the facts.

But, in case you didn't know, Froch didn't call out GGG. It was the other way round.

And if Ward actually wanted to fight Golvkin he could do what Abel Sanchez asked him to do and send Tom Loefler an offer. Andre seems to have other plans though, looking up at 175 maybe.

the only people that hate on him are Cotto fans who are terrified of that fight

Golovkin: I Look Forward To Fighting Cotto-Geale Winner

Of course you do. I know it wets your appetite to fight a fighter you already KOed or a undersize welterweight masquerading as a middleweight instead of stepping your competition and fighting the Son of God.

You see Golovkin, you realize that Ward will punch back and has the ring IQ to mitigate your cavemen like offense.

You know this though so that why fight the winner of Cotto/Geale appeases you.

Andre Ward is your mirror reflection, you can't hide forever.

It'll be funny if Cotto wins and rematches Floyd. Gonna be a lot of tears.

My biggest pet peeve from so called boxing fans is the use of garbage or bums when describing fighters. Those "garbage" fighters would make you their ***** if you ever had the balls to get in the ring. Every one of those guys that GGG has fought are in the top 20 at 160lbs out of literally over 1200 active fighters at 160lbs. If you are going to call someone garbage or a bum why don't you try and do better. As far as letting Monroe hit him on purpose that is entirely his propagative it has nothing with respect. GGG was able to take Monroe's punches so he decided to take a higher risk with him plain and simple.

That is right. The winner of this fight is a mandatory to fight GGG or vacate the belt. Cotto will vacate before he fights GGG unless the winner if Cotto/Alvarez promises to fight him next. Let's see what Cotto is made of.

GGG can fight but until he ices somebody worth mentioning, expect those who don't respect so easily to ride his back(pause).....nobody hates that dude...MOST of us with a brain knows he beats those little guys...but people STILL wanna see the ish for whatever corny reasons...oh I forgot, dudes wanna see him clean out the division as if they're gonna get to lift the belts...foh...fight Froch and SOG to get proper respect
We won't get to lift the belts and you won't get respect if he fights Froch and Ward. So what's the point of a dumb comment like that?

And how come you say GGG needs to move up and fight bigger men to get respect, but it's ok for Cotto to ask for catchweights against men in his own division?

Excuses, lol. Just check out his resume and let me know what fight is his defining fight. The guy is 33 years old and has done nothing of note. Says he'll fight anyone from 154 -168 but then brings excuses for certain fighters. You can keep playing bodyguard for him though. 33 years old, smh.

GGG has said many times that he can easily make 154 for Mayweather or anybody in that division. 157 is a snap for GGG. It doesn't matter if Cotto tries to get an advantage and fight at a catch weight. GGG will agree with that in a second and then kick Cotto's butt.
