( Garcia vs Salka ). So that killed all momentum for his whole roster among hard core fans and we're probably seeing the results now.

But the PBC seems rolling so now the push will be on not to be Floyds last victim but to see who will be the " new " Mayweather which is more valuable anyways.

I agree with better timing with Garcia would have been after the Matthysse but he beat clearly beat Lamont even if he didn't look good doing it.( Lamont threw away the first 7 rounds, and if Lamont implemented a better strategy he probably would have won )

I'd be cool with Cotto rematch there's worse things then 2 first ballot HOF fighters fighting, I just have tough time thinking Roc / Haymon make a deal. I mean Haymon pretty much made Quillen drop his belt because of the Roc and nixed deals for Thurman , Broner & Wilder.
    Great point about Garcia.

Look, he could be the most deserving guy, you're right..... but doesnt that prove my point?

If Garcia is the most deserving, considering the Herrea/Salka fights..... then the current welters are pathetic.

They all had an opportunity to eclipse Herrera/Salka, but they did nothing.

When Mayweather retires, the current crop of welters will likely stop dancing around each other, trying to position themselves without taking a risk because a potential loss means they miss out on a massive payday.

Remove that potential payday, and those guys might realise that they need to earn it the old fashioned way.

When Bradley was undefeated, and on top of the world..... why did he never mention Mayweather, not once?
