As I pointed out earlier, this is pretty much the best opponent available and Rios has an action packed fan friendly style, what more could you really ask for? Hes fighting in August which leaves enough time for a match against an A class opponent in the fall or winter. My question is if not Rios, who else? There are not that many A class welterweights. In my book only mayweather, pacquiao, Thurman, brook, and possibly Bradley and khan fall into that category. Since none of them will be available or are ducking in the case of khan, he has to face someone like Brandon Rios or Shawn porter or even Diego Chaves who are a level below but still top ten welterweights. Brandon Rios is the perfect opponent and is always enjoyable to watch. It will not only be a popular fight which we really shouldn't be giving a crap about anyway, but also it will be action packed and should probably last all 12 rounds seeing as how well they can both take a punch
    This guy gets it.

Rios will give brook a bunch of problems. Rios will pressure and rough up brook. People will be surprised like how they were surprised with how well algieri did.

Lets see if Brook lowballs his way out of the fight like a little pussie....if he does make the fight (no way in Hell) then he gets respect and we will see what he's really made of. Khan has fought 10 or 15 Rios caliber fighters. Kell needs to fight one before dare mentioning Khans name again

Rios is a live dog all you have to do is look at what carson jones did to brooks, beit been years ago but aint like brooks competition really stepped up since then more like plateaued out.

A man's got to know his limitations and Rios needs to forget about being a world beater and focus on having a successful career as a fan friendly fighter.
Rios seems to truly enjoy fighting, he's one of few that will fight just about anyone (given that the money is there, of course). Rios will be motivated for Brook and it'll be Brook's job to show the disparity in class.

Should be an action packed fight. Marquez would be a legit test for Brook, but Brook first needs to take out a guy a step down from Marquez.
