I'm still waiting for an answer to my question about Brook pushing back his date.

It was a step backwards for Khan and his performance was horrific. Rios is a more known quantity and more established than Algieri and if Brook beats him live on HBO in an exciting fight, it grows his profile in America.

There was no reason for Khan to fight Algieri whatsoever.
I don't disagree however Rios is no better than Algieri considering his 2-2 in his last four fights and was losing to Chaves.

Rios is a good matchup test brook chin a little, i would prefer he fought Bradley had he won his bout or wish Thurman wouldvewaited before announcing his next opponent

Not only is Rios a good fighter, but he has a huge fan base. His last fight vs. Alvarado did 1.4 million viewers, which is about double what khan just did on free t.v. And Alvarado was coming off 2 losses in a row and Rios himself had a sub par performance against Diego Chaves. I dont see who else brook could possibly face seeing as how Bradley already has a fight, pacquiao is out for a year, mayweather is fighting in September, and khan is ducking him. This is really the next best thing after all those guys. I'm excited to see it and its a good measuring stick to see where brook is really at. If he can easily beat Rios that would be a perfect setup for a showdown with Bradley in December or pacquiao early 2016. Rios seems really hungry right now and I see this being a great fight

Him and Chaves were pretty much neck in neck and Rios didn't seem to hungry for that fight. Also Chaves drew with Tim Bradley and was also working over Keith Thurman at times in their fight so its not like Chaves is some bum who was dominating Rios, it was another top ten welterweight who was neck in neck with an out of shape and unfocused rios

Terrible fight for Rios. He's got fans and is actually developing as a fighter. Whybemade to look bad against a relatively unknown up and comer. He could do so much better by givinghis fans the fights they want to see. A man's got to know his limitations and Rios needs to forget about being a world beater and focus on having a successful career as a fan friendly fighter.

It just goes to show some people complain just for the sake of complaining. I am by no means a big fan of brook, however everyone on here thinks their a match maker or say fights are terrible just because they could potentially face someone a little better. As I pointed out earlier, this is pretty much the best opponent available and Rios has an action packed fan friendly style, what more could you really ask for? Hes fighting in August which leaves enough time for a match against an A class opponent in the fall or winter. My question is if not Rios, who else? There are not that many A class welterweights. In my book only mayweather, pacquiao, Thurman, brook, and possibly Bradley and khan fall into that category. Since none of them will be available or are ducking in the case of khan, he has to face someone like Brandon Rios or Shawn porter or even Diego Chaves who are a level below but still top ten welterweights. Brandon Rios is the perfect opponent and is always enjoyable to watch. It will not only be a popular fight which we really shouldn't be giving a crap about anyway, but also it will be action packed and should probably last all 12 rounds seeing as how well they can both take a punch

I have to go with the majority & say Rios loses a UD but I don't know y people hate so much. Probably because he's brown & has a big mouth. But styles make fights. Rios brings it and it's up to Kell to neutralize it. I'll go on the record & say Rios KO's Khan. If Julio Diaz almost does than Rios catches Khan. I'd love to see Rios vs. Garcia.

Good little scrap, but I would expect Brook to win.

Marquez was the one they really wanted and also the one I really wanted to see.

Brook doesn't have a big mouth at all.

It's just Khantards and Mayweather fanatics who are suddenly attacking him. Khantards because their boy was too puussy to fight him. And Mayweather fanatics like Handz Grubby who are trying to cover their bases in case Floyd picks him for his next fight.
