Canelo IS a MW already. Weights more than Golovkin at fight night.

Im not sure as to why you are so desperate to convince people that Canelo is smaller then GGG.

The fact is that Canelo weighs more then GGG on fight night, nothing you try and say will ever change that fact.

canelo turned pro at age 15. ggg at age 24(canelo's age right now) canelo's draining himself to death just to make 155 for some strange reason but essentially they are the same size as fully grown men. the only reason ggg would go up is for money fights and glory. his body isn't going to force him up like canelo's did. if ggg turned pro at 16 he would probably be a welterweight as well.

pac was heavier than floyd on fight night, doesnt mean he is bigger, water weight is not equal muscles or thicker structure...
but again, if GGG is as small he woulndt be fighting on a dead division his entire career while having canelo, cotto and floyd at 154...

GGG and Canelo are nearly the same size, there isnt much in it.

GGG is a bit taller but I think canelo is broader.

There is no reason as to why Canelo cant fight at 160, he wouldnt have to cut so much weight to weigh in and would be healthier.

Im not sure how many fighters have created their own weight division to 'grow into' the next one, just move up and have a few easy fights to get acclimatized.

Neither Golovkin nor Canelo can *comfortably* make 154 anymore so this is a moot point.

They are the same size, struggle to make 154, a bit small for 160.

I don't like this system of weighing in 32 hours before the fight for this reason. GGG is a small middleweight. Big middleweights weigh 180 on fight night. Lara and Trout weigh in the 170s just like Canelo. Canelo can fight at 155 if he wants to in non title fights and it hurts nobody. Ward is fighting at 172 and Broner is fighting at 144. As long as no title is on the line it is between the two fighters what weight they fight at. Title fights should always be fought at the correct weight. Canelo is staying a jr middleweight and if he fights for a 154 pound title he will make 154 just like he always has. Hell. he made 152 for Mayweather. If people don't like it that he gains lots of weight after the weigh in they should blame the system of weighing in the day before the fight and not Canelo because he is obeying the rules. In the day of the fight weigh in days fighters never put on more than a few pounds between the weigh in and the fight. I liked that way much better.

He already fights above 154, therefore he is a MW.

Although I think his team want to invent a new Canelo-class weight of 155.

Those photos are from back when Canelo was college kid aged and could still make low 150s. He's bigger now.

If there was an imaginary "157.5555555" division they would both be fighting in it.

Who is offering GGG fights at 154 or 155lbs?
ODLH is saying 2 years and Canelo says he doesn't plan on moving to 160 anytime soon.
Canelo could cut the 155lb bull**** and fight the best MW in the world in Sept. if he wanted it.
