Canelo IS a MW already. Weights more than Golovkin at fight night.

I was trying to find the fight night weight of Canelo, and I read that back in 2013 in his Trout fight, he weighted 172 the night of the fight. In the same year, GGG weighted 170 the night of his fights.

Now that Canelo is fighting at CW (CaneloCotto-Weight) of 155, maybe he is coming in 174 or so the fight night.

Canelo is looking BIG, he's really huge lately. Some pictures take him more thick than Golovkin.

Imagine Canelo making 159-160 in the weigh in, and 175-178 in fight night? he would clearly have a weight advantage over GGG.

So they should make the fight and stop complaining. And the Ward/Mayweather fans should preassure Ward to fight at LHW and stop lobbying for GGG to move up. GGG still has not unified his division. Ward already have.

I also want to see this fight and it will eventually happen if GGG stays at 160... Just wanted to point out that canelo started his pro career at 140 or 147 and will most likely end it at 160, as for GGG he started his at 160 and most likely end it at 175.

If Canelo wants an advantage over Golovkin, he better come into the ring with a gun. That's the only way he will be able to win.

Same with ward, froch doesn't fancy a bout with the lad ward, maybe degale would be a stern test, but other than that the wasteland is barren

pretty much if canelo and GGG are the same size GGG wouldnt have a problem fighting at 154 or 155, but clearly he does have a problem doing it ... i will like to see GGG squeeze to 152 like canelo did for floyd, if canelo was drained at the scale GGG will die there...

Camelot is a MW because he fights at 155 period! Fight night weighs are irrelevant. If that's th case then Floyd is easily a JMW if not a MW. So is Cotto and rios. Need I go on? ****** logic

And, he can still get down to as low as 154.5 at the weigh in.
