But why can't we just compare the two fighters in the ring? Isn't that what boxing is about?

    Not to Khantards.

Ok how many shows have they had thus far?

As I said, I don't know anything about Spike TV - but I know Khan would rather have been on Showtime

Khan is so delusional that he was asking for the mayweather fight even after losing to Danny garcia. His game plan has been the same since then, fight a bunch of b level fighters with no power until he gets the mayweather fight. He has literally turned down fights and not fought at all thinking he would get mayweather. Khans ego couldn't handle a loss to brook. Imagine how bad that would hurt him losing to brook and then watch him get the mayweather fight instead lol have you guys ever saw the interview with both khan and brook and brook was saying how he schooled him in sparring? Hahaha the look on khans face was priceless. I think brook has more of a case to fight mayweather at this point really. I said it months ago, if khan wanted a mayweather shot he should have taken the brook fight and his biggest payday by far and then mayweather would almost have no choice but to face him if he won. Instead hes taking the path of least resistance and giving mayweather no reason to fight him yet he is soo desperate for the fight. Its crazy if you ask me

It did 660 that's pretty close to what Khan just averaged.

Where the *** did you get 200k from? He made $700k dollars from the Porter fight and now he's on PPV. Don't be a ****** just because you're a khanturd.

Exactly, how is that much worse than avg 770?

It might have been. I'm not too familiar with the different channels. But the numbers were pretty equal?

Let's not forget that Brook made his debut against someone who had only fought on showtime 3 times before I believe. Khan has been on HBO and Showtime for 6 years + was fighting a guy who just fought Pacquiao on HBO PPV.

I don't see how you can say Khan is such a massive pull when doing 770k.
          Khan algieri avg 1 mil

Mayweather has a strong fan base so he could probably fight rod salka and it would do 400k buys, plus mayweather is guaranteed 32 million regardless and just watchedhow easy it will be to beat khan so I'm pretty sure mayweather will pick khan anyways, but there are definitely many fighters more deserving than khan, brook included. Oh well ill be watching it on YouTube like always. Only mayweather fight ill ever buy is the pacquiao rematch or ggg

Khan fans wanking themselves over 700k avg on basic cable?? Really? Didn't the ****** ultimate fighter reality shows kill those numbers when they were on Spike? Amir is actually less popular now than he once was it seems.
Let's be honest, if he could draw anymore he wouldn't be doing Spike TV on a Friday night.

That was the purse from American money sweetheart. He took home 100% of Sky revenue too. And that was the Porter fight.

I would imagine he made a great deal more for the Gavin fight.

660k is close to 1.2 mil? Anyways, the argument is individual fights not the whole card.

The whole show averaged 772k the Khan fight did 1.2 mil. What's funny is Porter-Malignaggi did 897 K, so you can't even blame Porter for Brook-Porter ratings. Even Bika-Dirrel averaged 574 K ffs.
