If anyone deserves to have a rematch with Floyd, then Manny Pacquiao should be numero uno on the reservation slots

I would love for that fight to happen but the only kicker is Cotto's mandatory contractual obligation to HBO in challenging Canelo in September could prevent it from ever happening. That is unless of course he decides to breach his contract with them and scoop back over to Showtime and challenge Mayweather for that same title. However, in any case Gennady Golovkin is the mandatory challenger to the winner of Cotto's next bout after Daniel Geale; that is if he is victorious or decides to vacate the belt altogether.

Yeah, cuz Canelo, Maidana and Ortiz walked to the ring with canes and Floyd was 21 when he fought them. Your hatred is unbelievable.

I tend to agree, but Cotto isn't at 54 still and 60 is a stretch for Floyd. He's be giving Cotto a huge advantage agreeing to fight him at 60. I'd like to see Thurman. Alot of Cotto about the way Thurman fights, but i think he moves better, or more accurately is more conscious about moving. Cotto is actually pretty smooth when he gets on his bike, he just doesn't do it when he should.

I will say that there are a few that show promise, longevity and a willingness to fight anyone, so all is not lost.

They are getting paid good money much earlier now. Can't begrudge it, but it turns 90% of them into non competitive whiners, like a Berto for example who made $1.5 m fighting a bum, who i can't even remember now. This is where you have to hand it to the likes of Cotto, JMM, Floyd and Manny. The money doesn't turn off the desire to keep training and fighting.
