my point is that an 18 year old kid isn't the complete product that a 25-30 year old is. those three turned pro when they were grown men.
It's because loma was probably paid a decent amount to stay amateur

And it advertises him to big promotional companies

There are some in this era such as Canelo who turned pro quick

    Boxing Is fine

Hbo are being more selective in fights they put on

And casual fans are more savvy in what they watch. They won't watch Stevenson vs shotsky despite it being a obvious knockout fight. They now see through the bull

And al haymon needs ratings so will start to put on fights.

Floyd should make him fight a catchweight of 145

It's not too late. September is just right for this rematch. Let's promote this fight now so we can have it in September.

Agree Cotto deserves it, even more than Canelo. If he doesn't lose his next fight.

Nope, its just a easy path for Floyd to win a MW title.

Just get the Khan fight signed up and be done with it.

Anyone who thinks Mayweather-Cotto is a bad fight either didn’t watch the first match or is just a hater of one the fighters for some childish reason.

Most people who likes either fighter will tell you its one of the best fights by both men because of what they brought out each other. It was neither's best performance, though...

Why would people would like to see Floyd’s final fight against yet to prove fighters Brook, Garcia, Thurman or Khan (ffs) ?? He just out-classed another ATG, seriously…

Go out with a fellow HOFamer and a chance to win a belt in another weight division.

I've always wanted to see a rematch. Cotto did very well, even though he was with Diaz and still had Landmen as his S&C coach. I think the Cotto of old, with Uncle Evagelista would have been an even closer fight than the first, with Cotto possibly getting the win.

Now, Cotto with Roach is even more formidable IMO. This will be a great rematch and I am in the boat with those that want to see it happen. Let's hope Cotto looks spectacular against Geale and gets the rematch with Floyd next. There will still be a Canelo fight afterwards, so there is no loss there. Canelo can just man up and fight middleweights now. It would be nice to see him in with GGG, but Oscar won't let that happen in the near future.

It's about styles...and Khan is a leading welterweight, whatever you say. Plus he has the size and speed advantage, how many guys can you say that about?

In all honesty, the most relevant fight at 147 would be against Bradley, the only none Pac/May entrant in the p4p list who fights at 147.

Now, if Mayweather wants to go up to MW, why not fight a genuine middleweight, not some clown who has won and will now defend his title at a CW below the mw limit? lol

I agree with Larry. Cotto deserves a rematch. Make it happen in September.
