I'm all for boxers making more money and not getting ripped off but you have to question if they are getting too much now as it has lead to situations like this where fans don't get to see the matchups we want and the fighters hold out for the perceived big payday.
Khan seemingly will never fight a puncher again until Floyd retires. Canelo creates his own weight division. Cotto says he is gonna do whatever it wants to do (read - screw the fans) and waits on Mayweather or Canelo. Meanwhile Andrade can't get decent money or a decent fight. Rigo can't get any fight. Boxing has turned into one big long wait game whereby we have to wait years and not just months for decent fights to materialize and by that time the fighters are beyond their best. Sunday morning rant over!

This Amir Khan stuff has really gone beyond the joke now, did the Khan fans not watch that contest.....he is useless and still really amateurish , he has not gained any momentum improvement wise and I don't consider he ever will.Hunter was shouting the most basic instructions which Khan couldn't follow .He was stopped in his tracks to put it mildly no wonder Hunter says a Thurman fight will happen 'down the line'.Khan will never be ready and will be derailed if he EVER is allowed to fight a live welterweight ....he is by far the most over rated fighter of his generation , a complete embarrassment surely to those ****** enough to support this clown.
