Virgil has known Thurman since the ams....he must know some ish that hasn't hit the fan yet....IMO Thurman is the best WW in the world not named Mayweather.....I respect Thurman but I can see AK stamping him up but I can also see Thurman laying AK out...it's one of those fights that can go either way IMO

There are certain match-ups that we can only wish for. Thurman deserves a bigger name than ****in Collazo or Quintana on his resume. It's time to let Khan sink or swim. If Thurman knocks his head off, then so be it. We're only gonna find out how much Khan has truly improved once he steps in the ring with a genuine puncher.

Thurman is a no hoper from the way he fought that Old dude two fight ago, when he had him down in 1 then fought like a chicken during the rest of the fight.

Thurman didn't "fight like a chicken", he just outboxed Bundu and since nobody has beaten him before, you have to give Thurman credit for being the first one to do so (as well as the first to drop him in years).

Khan does have a bad chin. He lacks confidence in his own punch resistance. I can't comment on Thurman's chin yet but maybe those in the game know more.

Either way, time will show all.

You don't really need to "know" Thurman to see his chin is questionable. He's been rocked a few times by guys who aren't exactly big punchers.

But it's certainly enough to take what Khan throws long enough for Thurman to blast Khan's china chin.

That's exactly what I got from this, I don't understand why some posters thinks they know more than some trainers. If Khan can't beat this wide swinging Thurman then he is dumber than I thought.
