The guy is not even normal, I mean the guy is a freak athlete. Therefor you should be rooting against him by default. Every chromosome in this guy's DNA lines up perfectly. You can tell by his perfectly round head. His perfect answers in interviews. His perfectly crisp shots. You can tell by the way he plays basketball even.
You should be rooting for the common folk. 99% of the men in the world can never do what he this guy can do. I just don't get it not to mention his personality is as dry as a board. Without his undefeated shtick what would he even talk about? His money? Give me a F' break. You know that **** gets annoying, don't even lie.
I remember I was at a Floyd fight at a sports bar and some brothers who where behind Floyd eventually just started rooting against him. It seems like even Floyd fans are conflicted.
By the way I scored the fight 7-5 Floyd against Pacquaio but rewatched it with no sound and got 7-5 Pacquaio.
In other words your an irrelevant sad hater who probably lives a boring unfulfilling life.

The first Floyd fight I saw live was Cotto, which I really enjoyed, so I liked him at first(I think he took a risk with Cotto in the 12th which I haven't seen him do since then), but the more I learned about him the more I disliked him. I think you have to be a very dedicated fan to simply ignore all the ***** **** Floyd has done over the years, from the Ortiz KO, to his ducking, to the Maidana gloves situation, etc. I think the people who like him sympathize with him because if they were in the same position they would do the same thing(Money over Glory), but I think that's the wrong mindset for a fighter. Just my opinion.
you just categorized Floyd's last 3 years as if that's what his whole career has been about.
mayweather was all offense in his 20's and what did that get him?
nothing, he was on every p4p list, still being overshadowed and underrated
so the first Floyd fight you saw live was a 35 year old mayweather fighting cotto?
the man been a champion since he was 20. you missed 15 years of Floyd's career.
obviously the man chose glory over money for 10 years while he was with bob arum.
because once he got rid of arum, the checks started becoming historical.
I find it ridiculous that you can take shots at a 38 year old fighter for cashing out at the end of his career.
all I hear on this site is how froch and cotto deserve big payday fights on their way out.
but Floyd been champion longer than both of them combined and he shouldn't fight for money.
it doesn't make sense.
is it because he's undefeated?
or is it because he's black?
the reason im a fan is because I remember when he was a regular hbo fighter calling out all the bigger names in the early 2000's.
Oscar,shane,tszu.
none of those fighter gave him a shot because he was high risk-low reward.
now he is the biggest name in boxing and he worked his whole life for that.
if you don't respect a man setting a goal for himself as a kid and reaching it, you are just a hater.
he beat more world champions than any fighter, and that's still not enough.
he fought every legendary fighter from his era, that's still not enough.
he is labeled as a duck on this site. but the 2 fighters he is accused of ducking (Williams and margarito).
one is a bum who lost every big fight he was ever in except one(loaded wraps?)
pacquiao, cotto, mosley didn't fight p will either but they never get accused of ducking Williams.

Few things;
Extreme level of skill and technical ability.
Talent that's appeasing to the eye I.e sharp fast hands, ridiculous reflexes and timing.
Extremely high ring IQ and ring smarts.
Great ability to make adjustments in the ring.
Very well rounded, can fight at a high level in every single area.
Great heart and toughness.
Over a 20 year career has changed and adapted his style. Exciting aggressive style early to a cautious defensive later on. But all whilst being an elite strategist.
All of these thiings greatly entertain me.Last edited by IronDanHamza; 05-31-2015, 08:30 AM.

Floyd from 1997-2005 was a lot more entertaining than Andre Ward who's pretty boring IMO.
And he stood and fought a lot more then aswell and threw a lot of punches

Right. Someone's smart.
Floyd at 130, in his first division, was 26-0 with 20 KO's. As champion, he stopped 7 of his 10 championship opponents. A 70% KO ratio as champion.
Andre Ward still in his first division is 27-0 with 14 KO's. As champion, he has stopped only one opponent, yes that's one, of his championship reign. In fact, since stepping up and winning his first minor title and becoming a ranked contender he has stopped just two opponents in over six years. His KO ratio as champion and top contender is about 10%.
His entire career over only one division, including all the stiffs and nobodies he fought building up as a prospect at the start of his career is 50%. Floyds, as a six division champion over 20 years is still higher than that. At the same points in their careers, i.e. when Floyd was in his first division as champion at 26-0 (Ward is 27-0 in his first division still) with ten title fights, his KO % was 76.
76% KO ratio compared to 10% for Ward.
So what the **** are you talking about?
You've never watched or liked either guy. That much is obvious so stop pretending. You're more transparent than Tunney.
So you say used to like him because you thought it made you look cool and you just wanted to fit in, seem smarter than you obviously are and follow the crowd? Ok then. You're either a 13 year old high school kid or just a sad moron. Both seems likely.

Skills. From purely a boxing POV, there is no one better to look up to. His personal life is none of anyone's business.
