Johnson had never been stopped in his entire career. He was hurt by a big right and dropped in the first round. Near the end of the round, he was battered down for a second time and it appeared as if the fight was being waved off but it was allowed to continue.

I'd say put him against a guy like Fedosov (who won the Boxcino) next; a guy that AJ can knock out but will certainly come at him and test his mettle.

Wilder vs joshua is going to be a massive fight in the future if they keep winning.

Joshua looked very impressive albeit against an out-of-shape uninspired Kevin "tomato can" Johnson. It's embarrassing to Johnson that professional journey Jay Gavern put up more resistance than him.

That said, Joshua is definitely ready to step up the level of comp against some top 20 guys. Let's see him against Charr, Takam, Browne, Chambers, Wach, Price.

This man is a monster. I'm extremely excited to see what the future holds for this guy. I believe he is the future of the heavyweight division. His power is unbelievable and has it in both hands. He isn't real quick like a young Lennox Lewis but his demeanor and patience makes up for his speed. It will be an interesting future.

Nice one, that sounds like it would be pretty good - only seen Fedesov once but I like how he moved and cut off the ring, decent skills. I could see him trying to push the issue even with Joshua

That could be similar to this fight. Fedosov is mechanical and on the small side. If they want a cigar store Indian type then it's Wach. Really this could be like Wilder where unless you are willing to gamble a bit before Joshua gets his inevitable title shot he may never get tested until then.
