Can we safely say that Hunter sucks as a trainer?

Khan never used to be a boring fighter.

Virgil Hunter teaches boxers to hold, grapple and clamp their opponents arms.

He's a liability to the sport of boxing, and better suited to be a MMA trainer.

He's improved Khan. You guys need to stop exaggerating, when a fight doesn't go the way you expected it to.

Khan didn't look improved last night. He's STILL vulnerable to left hooks, and he still can't fight on the inside.

He was calm and didnt panic when he was caught with a solid right hand

Algieri came in there with nothing to lose, all the pressure was on Khan, with the Floyd carrot dangling over him.

Khan still needs to work on dealing with pressure fighters, which i dont think he will ever truly master, he's a type of boxer who needs room to work.

Khan also had the same problems with pressure fighters under Roach.

Hunter is a good look for Khan imo

Khan is taking a hell of a lot less punishment than he was under Roach
Khan has only faced non punchers and not won a title since Roach, so yeah, big improvement moving up a weight class...

With that logic Freddie Roach sucks too.

Regardless, he was taking unnecessary shots from guys who werent punchers in the past as well

He'd fight fire with fire, he could have done that last night, but he didnt, he boxed and moved

Last night didn't determine that, it has been clear for years now. He is just another wannabe suave smooth talker like Naazim with no true substance. They know how to talk about the sport of boxing, but can't train for ****.

I think its safe to say Khan just isn't that good. The sad thing he still believes in his own hype.

He is an average trainer who is fortunate to train an uber elite level talent.
