Algieri definitely needs to keep the trainer he has now. He looked much better than before and if not a Khan rematch next, then hopefully it's another named opponent.

Exactly this! Algerie is so much better than what people on here make out. He lost to Pacquiao for crying out loud not some unranked fighter. I posted in another thread how Algerie would outbox the likes of Berto, Guerrero, Garcia & Broner.

Though what else added to Algeries peformance was that Khan looked below his best.

He isn't. You can tell in the way he punches, and the way he has to take a moment to set himself up after moving around the ring. You can tell that it is not natural for him.

He looked excellent, have to give Algieri props for that performance. He made Khan look bad and he redeemed himself for the loss against Manny.

Without a doubt KO. I don't think Khan can handle more than a Margarito or Cotto haha

Algieri was training in Miami? Did he hit up any anti-aging clinics?

Aglieri looked a lot stronger tonight, just saying.

I think this fight showed what Algeri + a decent trainer can accomplish. Khan's style forces the opponent to become a pressure fighter, but not everyone will look competent with that style. Algeri fought out of his comfort zone tonight and performed well. I hope that Algeri stays with Jackson for another fight or two.

Worst I've seen Khan look in such a long time. Chris looked great but he still lost comfortably to a really bad Khan. Khan I don't think can beat Floyd or take him really close like I used to. The Khan today would probably get ko'd vs Thurman also.
