[QUOTE=PunchyPotorff;15740359]The much louder roar comes from the stacks of Khan haters. And BTW, outside the Ortiz sucker punch and a Cortez assisted Floydie vs Hatton, when's the last time the guy KOd or TKOd anyone? Hint: The date was sometime in the last decade.

Hear ya. I too saw that KO. Cortez was holding Hatton's left arm and when Hatton dived, Cortez put the ring post in front of Hatton's head and knocked himself.

Pac drilled Algieri for 12 rounds. Khan had a competitive fight with the same guy Pac drilled. So nope. Khan stay were you are. Some are more deserving. Sorry, but that's just the hard truth.

Khan is light years from the top level. This guy is over hyped and should know his place in boxing now.

I have to agree with you on this one. Pac destroyed Algeria never once looked out of pocket. khan gets way too much hype and hasn't even thought about fighting a power puncher since Garcia sent him to la la land.

I doubt that they will try another careful pick. Any welter landing like Algieri did will take Khan out......given what Pac did to Chris this in comparison was pathetic ...ask Hunter !

As long as Khan doesn't get the floyd fight I'm happy. After all the talking about mayweather and the obsession that he clearly has towards him there would be nothing sweeter than Khan not getting the fight. Poor performance tonight against an opponent he picked then didn't pick and then picked again. Virgil you can't polish a turd!

Floyd better not fight this clown next. I know he has earned the right to fight whoever he chooses to fight, but Khan is less deserving than, DSG, Thurman, Brook, etc.

clear win for khan..but Algieri is much improved with the new trainer. .his aggressive approach threw Khan off his game and he had to adjust on the fly..good thing virgil is his trainer, he told him all the right things .

That's poor preparation by him and Hunter IMO.
They should know that with Khan's reputation for being chinny most fighters are always going to want to come forward with him.
good post i did find that shocking, i mean this guy wants to fight mayweather,
and he couldnt even adapt to chris algeiri,
                mayweather will KO khan

Khan won but didn't look impressive at all. Algieri fought a really good fight he just came up a little short. I rather Khan fight Garcia again than Floyd. Let's see what happens.

IMHO Khan lost that fight. As for getting a fight with Floyd, only if Floyd wants to face an opponent who doesn't stand a chance of winning should he select Khan. If Khan's performance against Algieri was to showcase Amir's talent and worthiness, it did no such thing. Amir better stick to punching a milk bottle, because his vaunted speed went missing from this fight. In trying to figure out why Khan was gifted the win I came to the thought that since Aligeri himself was gifted a win against Provo last year, and since Algieri was really a kick-boxer and not a real boxer, added to the shellacking he received against Pacquiao, that two of the judges were not going to allow Algieri to win unless he had knocked Khan cold. Now I had Algieri winning, but I can accept the 115 - 113 score one judge posted. Not the other two - ever. As for Khan? if I were Floyd, I'd make it clear that Khan has to fight and beat Kell Brook before I'd consider Amir as an opponent.
